The Chronicles of the Lightbound

Origins of the Lightbound

Author’s Note: This retrospective was written with the support of AI tools, shaped and edited by hand to match the tone, voice, and vision of this series. While parts of the text were generated through prompts and machine learning to reflect on the adventure, the structure, personality, and final form were crafted by me - blending memory and myth in the spirit of the end credits' legendary framing.

In the earliest days of the Age of Darkness, as monsters roamed unchecked and the four elemental forces faltered, prophecy whispered not of kings or scholars, but of nameless figures bearing a glimmer of hope. Tales now speak of four travellers who emerged from Cornelia, their names etched faintly in time - Rukus, Kaili, Clair, and Glitz. They carried with them Crystals, dulled and inert, unaware of the burden - and destiny - they bore.

No scroll nor sage can confirm the full truth of their origins. What is believed is that they rose not from might or station, but from obscurity, and in so doing became something more. It is said that when a princess of Cornelia called Sarah in some tales, was saved from the clutches of darkness in the Chaos Shrine, the Crystals shimmered faintly for the first time in an age. Some believe this single act of bravery awakened their dormant power, casting the first rays of hope across a land long shrouded in shadow.

From that moment onward, the path of the Lightbound began to unfold - not as a march of heroes foretold, but as the uncertain steps of four who had not yet become legends, drawn forward by courage and bound by fate.

Though their legacy is shrouded in the veils of myth, their deeds are remembered in fragments: shrines rekindled, time unraveled, Chaos undone. Whether mortal or myth, the tale of the Lightbound endures, not merely as history - but as the shape of hope itself.

They became known in time as the Warriors of Light, but history would record them more deeply as the Lightbound. Across sea and sky, through shrine and ruin, they reawakened the elemental Crystals, banished the Four Fiends, and shattered the eternal time loop that had ensnared the world. Here follows the account of each.
