The Prince Awakens
I notice that you can only enter the Castle on the overworld from the front entrance, which while it makes sense, is a nice touch, as it feels like on an older game, walking into it might be enough. I pop by the inn seeing as I've had to wander round and through town, and we see whether this tonic will jolt him from his slumber.
The healer seem to recognise it immediately, which bodes well. He decides to give it a go, because, yes you may have it, thank you for asking. Fortunately though it does the trick, and "The Prince" slowly wakes up. This naming feels like it's going to cause some confusion with lineages.
Upon waking up, he immediately recognises us as the legendary warriors too. That tracks, with his definite article status. On that basis, he says he has to abide by the legend that he was told by his elders, and we pick up the mystic key. Score! I know a few doors that could do with unlocking.
The staff at the castle and the townsfolk all seem glad that The Prince has awoken, so news travels fast. That seems like a good time to call it a morning though. We managed to successfully make more story progress in this chapter than we did in the previous and with zero deaths!
I might be getting the hang of this.
Thanks for reading.
If something in this piece resonated, or you just want to say hello, I'd love to hear from you.
