Flying Away
The world is our oyster now! No more boat rides, I assume. Looking on the map, I decide to head north and try and get to the nearest town to Pravoka - I'd spotted it when I was sailing by but couldn't find a port.
We have to park a long long way north though - the airship can't land on either forest or marsh, so we have a long walk ahead of us. Unsure of the difficulty, I decide to make a tactical save and heal up fully. Turns out though, it's pretty similar to around the Citadel of Trials, so that's a relief. Glitz finally makes Level 37, clearly thrilled about the airship.
We reach the town in no time, and it looks very grey - perhaps a sign of some decay?
We enter and it's introduced as Lufenia. Perhaps it's just more serene than run down like Melmond? Everyone's dressed in white robes, but talking to them, we don't get very far:
Lu...pa...gamhi..dho?
I'm sure there's a word puzzle in there, but I'm not finding it yet. What I do find almost by mistake though to the east of the main area is a couple of Level 8 Magic stores, with Full-Life and Flare. Sadly however, neither of our mages can learn it yet. Soon.
We head back to the airship, and I notice a tower in the middle of the giant desert. It looks like we could land in the south east of it and walk over, but my instincts are telling me to maybe try some towns first.
Using the L2 and Cancel trick from Matoya's brooms, I notice that in the very north east of the continent there's another place I haven't visited. It's locked in by mountains on all sides, but that's nothing an airship can't handle.
